If you want to live in Duluth, Georgia and have an extra 3 million they have such a deal for you.
Tues the mansion of one Michael Vick goes on the block. Yes his 3 story 8 bedroom 8 bathroom home is being sold to help pay bankrupt Vick's bills.
It is hard for me to fathom making the kind of money he did and being bankrupt. How does one go through all those millions of dollars and end up broke.
I do not know the answer to the question but Michael Vick did it. So if you want to buy his home, the bidding starts at 3.2 million and could reach as high as 4 million.
If you have cash and want to live in a former super stars home and the elite area of Duluth appeals to bring 4 million and you get the Vick mansion at a bargain price.
Vick is not the only one geting hit hard. Tiger Woods will not be promoting Buick for the first time in nine years. Buick in a cost cutting move ended its association with Tiger. They figure they will save $7 million annually.
Woman's pro golf is canceling some of its scheduled events because sponsorship money is drying up. For that group of athletes I have compassion. There is no way the ladies can make as much money as the men's PGA, let alone the type of money Tiger Woods can earn.
As the recession deepens we can expect to pay more to see less in pro sports. Thank the good Lord for high school and college sports. Down South high school football is a religious passion that the rest of the country can learn from. Perhaps the silver lining is across the country high school athletics will get more atention and sponsorship.
