That first quarter it appeared it was going to be a high scoring affair but both teams seemed to settle in on defense for the rest of the game.
As a die hard Boise State fan it was bitter sweet to watch it. During the half I ran to the store and ran into several fellow Bronco fans. They shared the same sentiments of watching and cheering TCU was bitter sweet. They were like me and kept thinking what might of been. But for a bad second half by the Broncos and a great second half by Nevada, it could have been us in the Rose Bowl.
But that is sports, this year it was TCU's turn and time to to have center stage to themselves and be the standard barer for the mid majors.They did it with class and style. Congrats TCU you earned it. Wait till next season when we come to Texas and tee it up as conference mates, should be a heck of game. Happy New Year everyone.
