Yep time for another of those who is this person and why should I care. So first lets find out who is Johnny McEntee. He is the third string back yo quarterback for the UConn Huskies. Now I'm sure that has you all giddy with excitement.
Currently McEntee's claim to fame as a UConn quarterback goes back to the 2009 season when he got into the game for a few plays in a blow out against Rhode Island. Since then he has seen little action and certainly wont grab the attention of any Heisman voters. I doubt any of them have heard of this kid.
So why does this kid stand out and garner attention. He would be the Paul Newman or Tom Cruise from The Hustler movie of quarterbacks. Were he in the Dr. Pepper half time show, he walks away with all the gold. If there was a football answer to basket ball's Harlem Globetrotters, bar none UConn's Johnny McEntee is the football rebuttal.
